Alaska Is A Freeze-Dried War, Just Add Water

Okay, so get this:
1 - Alaska is going to be the most fertile and safe place on Earth in the later half of this century once the ice melts away.
2 - Russia is less than 50 kilometres away from Alaska, and the only thing between their incredible navy and the US state of Alaska is ice - ice that will melt away completely by the later half of this century
3 - Russia is becoming more expansionist, invading both Georgia and Ukraine in recent years

DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE THAT THIS IS OBVIOUSLY DANGEROUS?!

Two world superpowers, armed with nuclear weapons, right next to the only fertile strip of land left on Earth. This is an absolute nightmare waiting to happen!
