Starship Blaze: Part 1A massive flashing beam of light appeared outside the spacecraft. "Yikes! What's happening?!" asked Zaan. "I don't know", called out Captain Blargh, but there are some interesting readings on the screen here. "Define interesting", Zaan yelled back as the ship was knocked back and forwards by seemingly nothing. "40 degrees", Blargh called out to Zaan, "the communication constant, we're not alone here!" "How's the communicator?", asked Zak, notably calmer than the rest of the crew, as usual. "Still working", replied Blargh, "hang on, we got banged around because we are still running on flux polarity! Zaan turn off the flux propulsion, leave the flux communication on". "The photons conflicted with the flux's wave function and terminated the directional coordinate locator, of course, how could I miss that?!" "Erm.. so just turn it off", asked Zaan. "Yes, only the propulsion, not the communication" "Yes sir", replied Zaan, who managed to press the correct button after some searching, involv

Starship Blaze: PrologueThe photon laser was ready. The dark energy generator was online. The quantum flux reverser was up and running. The countdown began. All his life, Zaan had dreamed of being the first citizen of the galaxy ever to enter another universe. And now was his chance. "...4, 3, 2, 1 and we have liftoff all flux systems going and energy gaining", the announcer read out as the Blaze ripped through Spacetime in a burst of Plank energy and entered hyperspace. The universe's frequency (read as 74088) was recorded and beamed back, as well as the frequency of the target universe (3796416), the nearest confirmed as habitable... The new universe emerged out of a giant glow of light. The physics here were normal. Zaan turned around, Jack still had 4 arms, Blargh's head was still green and George still had enough Oxygen to keep his flames going. They had succeeded, but then, they witnessed something completely unexpected...To be continued...
Alone: Part 6I was still sore when I woke up. I was also slightly itchy, but I resisted the urge to scratch. I tried to stand up, let out a slight groan and collapsed again. "Try not to look at your injuries", Vulpix said, as gently as possible, "they are getting better but they look pretty nasty". I couldn't bear to even think of what it looked like. I was still sore from that critical hit, still slightly damp, but mostly itchy from the blood and depressed, knowing I lost my trainer because I couldn't even defeat a Totodile. How could I be so useless?! And then he thought he'd failed me, I couldn't believe it. As usual, Eeks was the first to notice I wasn't feeling too good. "Hey, Ember", she half-whispered, softly and caringly, "its okay, I'm sure your master would be very proud of you". I smiled, slightly. I loved him so much now, even though I'd only known him for a few days. And Vulpix as well, nothing felt as comforting and cuddly as her soft, warm, fluffy arms.I was about to drift back off
