EXT. FARM – DAY
Dissolve to the farm, where the crops are just starting to grow. Bucky is once again struggling to keep the animals under control. He runs over to two wildebeest who are angrily clashing horns and tries to get them to stop.

BUCKY
Listen, you need to get back to your farming duties. Kimba’s not gonna be happy if he comes back to find you two standing here fighting and the farm half-complete.

WILDEBEEST 2
Why don’t you tell him that, after all he’s the one who started it!

WILDBEEST 1
Nu-uh! You’re the one who trod on MY hoof!

WILDEBEEST 2
Only because you got in the way!

BUCKY
Now listen, I know one of you must’ve done something wrong, but it’s over now so just get back to work!

Both Wildebeest ignore Bucky and charge at each other even faster than before. The noise causes Bucky to fall over and roll away, finally coming to a stop under a nearby tree.

BUCKY
NOW YOU OUGHT TO HAVE MORE RESPECT!

Suddenly, monkeys in the tree begin throwing banana peels at him and laughing, forcing him to run away.

INT. BACK OF THE TRUCK – DAY

Meanwhile, back in the trucks, Kimba is scratching carefully at the lock. Eventually, it loudly snaps and the cage door swings open. The driver notices this and panics, causing the truck to swerve off the track and come skidding down the mountainside, which is mostly rocky with the occasional tree. Action-packed African music plays. Watson, sitting next to the driver, turns around more calm than the driver but extremely angry and shoots at Kimba. Kimba avoids the gunshots and they smash the glass, allowing Kimba to jump out the back of the truck.

Kimba jumps onto the top of the truck and then jumps off the front, racing down the mountain as the truck comes skidding to a halt behind him. Watson fires a few more shots out the front windscreen of the truck but Kimba avoids them easily and gets away. Kimba runs towards the jungle and the truck turns and drives back towards the path, with the weapon still intact.

EXT. JUNGLE PATH – DAY

Cut to a narrow dirt path within the jungle, heavily overgrown with vines and vegetation, where Kitty is looking frantically for Kimba, racing around and calling out his name, and Bucky and Speedy and chasing after her exhaustedly. Bucky trips over a vine and his face crashes through a spiderweb on his way down. He gets up in a panic and flicks the web and spider off with his hoof.

BUCKY
Kitty, you need to calm down! He escaped a ship for goodness sakes, he’ll be fine!

KITTY
BUT HE’S IN THAT TRUCK! ALL ALONE! WITH THOSE HORRIBLE HUNTERS!

BUCKY
Even if he isn’t in trouble, looking around in circles here isn’t going to help!

KITTY
THEN WE’LL GO TO THE MOUNTAIN AND LOOK THERE!

SPEEDY
Um, Kitty?

KITTY
KIMBA?! KIMBA?!

Kitty keeps looking around as Kimba stands behind her.

SPEEDY
KITTY!

KITTY
(turns around and cries out in relief)
KIMBAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kitty tackle-hugs Kimba and skips around him happily. Kimba gets up, dazed, and shakes the dirt out of his fur.

KITTY
Oh Kimba, you’re okay! I don’t know why anyone else was worrying, I knew you’d be alright!

BUCKY and SPEEDY
(both sigh)
Read Part 7 first before reading this or it will make no sense :P This is just sort of a short funny bit but there's an epic finale coming up so stay tuned for that.

It seems like this part isn't as good as the others, I'm not sure if it's because I put too much comedy in it or just because it was following one of the most intense bits of the movie. What do you think, should I drop those two comedy scenes and just keep this part intense the whole way through or do you like them?

If you think I should just drop the comedy scenes, I'll redo this part without them and merge it into the next one (which should be very intense).
